First off, let me start out by stating that my wife and I came across the importance of dog food 4 years ago when we enrolled our boxer puppy in an obedience class. One obedience session educated us on the importance of the ingredients to look for when selecting the correct chow. We found this nutro ultra and bought it as it met all the criteria that our “teacher” taught us. Then when the dog food recall fiasco hit about 2 years ago, the ultra dry dog food was free and clear from any bad press (I think some of the canned stuff was recalled but we dont buy that stuff anyway). Post recall, everyone claims that chicken is the first ingredient, no fillers, and all that other stuff but I’m not buying it. Here’s why. I decided to cut back in my spending on dog food (the only draw back is that this stuff is expensive!)when gas was over 4 bucks a gallon. I went to Eukenuba (sp?)as an alternative. It says all the right stuff on the ingredients list that I was taught to look for. My dog of 4 yrs was less active on that stuff. Gas went back down, I then bought ultra again. And its like I have a puppy again. Crazy. This food works. Plus, your dog will never have #2 puddles making for easy clean up. I did try nutro’s max line but that stuff had my dogs making puddles all over the yard.

I have 5 pomeranians they are not tiny but mid size like 15lbs… and they LOVE this food… i have to buy a huge bag every 2 months…. they are so picky and I’ve tried everything … even some really expensive food… they don’t care for it… but this really worked! and it’s all natural… it keeps their coat looking great, and teeth nice and clean… i would recommend this product to anyone…
the only other product that comes close to this one is Nature’s Recipe… which i give them the canned food from that.. but dry food from Ultra and it works like a charm …

I HAVE ONE YOUNG DOG OUT OF 7 OLDER DOGS AND SHE HAS HAD SOME ALGERY PROBLEMS. THE VET TOLD ME TO USE ANGLE EYES FOR HER BLOOD RED AND RUNNY EYES—-THIS WORKED FINE BUT I FREE FEED WITH A FEEDER AND WAS A PROBLEM GETTING IT INTO HER. I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT BY CHANCE WHEN I RAN OUT OF FOOD ONE DAY AND HER EYES CLEARED UP THAT DAY!!
IT COSTS MORE BUT THEN THE ANGLE EYES COSTS $[...] DOLLARS A BOTTLE SO THIS HAS BEEN A GOD-SEND AND I WILL PROBABLY FEED ALL MY DOGS THIS!
